Gap İnşaat, a Çalık Holding subsidiary, has successfully completed four different real estate projects at a total cost of USD 62 million, which were opened for service with an inauguration ceremony in Ashgabat, the capital city of Turkmenistan. The inauguration ceremony began with the opening of the 12-storey residence with 74 flats for Turkmenbashi Bank employees, built for USD 16.143 million. The ceremony was attended by Deputy Head of State Tuvakmammet Caparov, Turkish Ambassador to Turkmenistan, Hüseyin Avni Bıçaklı, Governor of Ashgabat Azat Bilişov, Turkish businessmen, Turkoman authorities and citizens from Turkmenistan. In his speech, Deputy Head of State Tuvakmammet Caparov said that, the government aims to provide the opportunity for all Turkoman citizens to live in luxury residences like these and conveyed his thanks to Gap İnşaat authorities.
The inauguration of the first residence was followed by the second again with 12 floors and 74 flats worth USD 16 million which was also contracted to Gap İnşaat by the Governorship of Ashgabat.
The inaugurations continued with the openings of two more residences built for the employees of Turkoman Ministries of Textile and Finance. The Residence for the Ministry of Textile was built for USD 18, 295 million while the residence for the Ministry of Finance was built for USD 11,600 million.
The Turnkey ceremony ended with folk dance performance and concerts that featured various famous singers from Turkmenistan.
